Both of his parents are artists. His father Grzegorz is a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, while his mother Barbara Falender is a famous sculptress.
In the period 2002-2006 he studied at the Industrial Design Department of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In 2006, with his garden chair project he graduated with honours, being awarded the Bachelor’s degree.

In the same year he started cooperating with the designer Tomek Rygalik in his studio. He worked on furniture projects which were shown at “100% East” exhibition during the London Design Festival in 2006.

He had a student traineeship in Bellini Studios in Milan, completed in 2007. He worked on the furniture projects of Flou, Knoll, Ivars and the kitchen utensils of Barazzoni. In 2007 he worked at the Towarzystwo Projektowe design studio in Warsaw. He is currently working as a freelance designer. Cooperating with the Iker Furniture company.
