Born in WrocÅ?aw on 22.04.1979
I am studying design at the Academy of Fine Arts. Initially, I was a student at the studio of transportation design under Prof. W. Semaniszyn, where, as one of few students, I had an opportunity to take part in a training held at the German company RUCKER cooperating with the VW car corporation. I studied the Icem Surf system used in designing VW cars to undertake my own design projects.
I am currently studying in the product design studio under Prof. W. Dolatowski.
One of my designs created at the studio was exhibited at the Festival of Interiors in the IASE Exhibition Hall in WrocÅ?aw and will soon be displayed at an exhibition in Braunschweig.
My designs were also shown at the anniversary exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts in WrocÅ?aw.
I qualified for the group of ten finalists of the competition for the Wanda Telakowska scholarship within the framework of the Fortis Young Design programme aimed at selecting ten most promising designs and, at the same time, ten designers with the highest market potential.
In the future, I would like to design for the disabled and address their problems.
To escape from reality, I often play and give concerts with the band called The Mind. As a member of the Grupa Realizacji Inicjatyw Filmowych GRIF (Group for Production of Film Initiatives), I take part in producing films made by young independent film-makers. In the past, I was a comedian performing with the â??na strychuâ?? (â??in the atticâ??) cabaret, and a set designer and actor of the â??teatr próbâ?? (â??trial theatreâ??). Our ensemble won an award at the SOFT Festiwal in Olsztyn.
I devoted 12 years of my life to rowing, winning several Champion titles at Polish Championships. The culminating moments in my rowing career came where I had a chance to compete in World Championships twice.
