Asia Pytlewska
This year’s diploma graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Forms of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź. Winner of the 2007/2008 scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding academic achievements.
She is not keen on talking about herself. She expresses herself through her designs. She works on the border between applied and interior design. She has participated in a number of exhibitions both in Poland and abroad, showing her hard and soft design works and original jewellery. She is experienced in designing both residential and public interiors. She likes “pure” design solutions. She is inspired by the rich culture of far-away Japan and the austere suprematism of Kasimir Malevich. When she is not designing, she enjoys walks with her dog.
