Design Workshops - Meblościanka "2008"

The design was inspired by the structure of rocks and the Earth’s tectonic system. It captures a moment of motion. The visually attractive structure composed of open modules, cubicoids of varying depth, stacked one on another irregularly. The design addresses the need of shelves of different depth in arranging your home bookshelf. The design is modern in terms of technology solutions employed in the construction. The wall unit set has a built-in electric socket and a power port for charging your mobile phone. The designer would also like to incorporate a USB port with a system of loudspeakers, which would transform the set into a multimedia centre of the apartment. It is worthwhile noting that the wall unit set is made of diverse materials, e.g. LED-illuminated glass. The design has been selected for production by Vox.
